FAQs for our Kids School Holiday Clubs

Is there a minimum or maximum age limit?
Our Programmes are suitable for children aged 5 – 11yrs only.
What time should I drop off /pick up my child at a camp?

Hastings / Bexhill: Drop off 8.30am – 9am and Pick up 4pm.
Wadhurst: Drop off 8.30am and Pick up 4.00pm.

All children must be signed in and out by responsible adult, we are unable to sign your children in until 8.30am each day so please don’t arrive any earlier. If the adult collecting at the end of the day is different you must inform the member of staff when you sign in that morning (a password maybe asked for).

Do you offer extended hours?

NO.

Where do I drop off /pick up my child at a camp?
Hastings / Bexhill: Free parking is located outside both venues, when you arrive at the venue look out for the Boom Active welcome desk, and for our staff who will be wearing their Boom Active uniform. Drop off and pick up will be at this point every day unless told otherwise.

Wadhurst From the high street take the side road next to the Greyhound Hotel and in to the free village car park which is located in front of Uplands Sport Centre outside. Enter the building via the main entrance to the centre where you be directed to the Boom Active signing in desk. Collection will be at this point every day unless told otherwise.

Will you provide lunch for my child?
No, please provide your child with a packed lunch and a refillable drinks bottle at all venues. Note; we do not have access to fridges at our venues to store lunches so please take this into consideration. Note; we are a nut free club and ask that you respect this when preparing your child’s food for our club.
Will you provide drinks and snacks?
No. We recommend parents always send children with enough food to ensure they remain fully energised for the day. We have snack breaks in the morning and late afternoon. Note; we are a nut free club and ask that you respect this when preparing your child’s food for our club.
What should my child wear?
Every child should wear appropriate clothing for the sports and creative activities they will be participating in, this includes appropriate footwear. Please also pack a sun hat and jacket.
What should my child bring?
We will provide all necessary equipment for all the sports and creative activities your child will take part in. For some special events children may bring their own equipment but this information will be included within your pre programme email
If I want to know how my child is getting on at a camp, what do I do?
You can call our office phone number at any time during camp hours to find out how your child is.
Will you provide sun cream?
No, we cannot apply sunscreen to all children. Please send the appropriate factor with your child and we will remind them throughout the day to apply it.
Cancellations and Refunds?
A full refund can only be offered 24 hours from the time your booking was made, after the 24 hours we will do our best to place your child on an alternative day.
If you need to cancel a session, we will do our best to place your child on an alternative day.
We cannot promise this will be during the same programme, but we would offer an alternative day at the same venue.
