Can my child be grouped in the same group as a particular friend?

It's my child's first day, what can we expect?
You can expect to be greeted by one of our friendly camp activity leaders to get signed in and see what the plan is for the day. Children will then be taken to their group’s base area and introduced to everyone. Children will then play some ice breaker games to get settled in and begin their Boom Active Camps day!
My child needs extra support, can they still attend camp?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any form of one-to-one support for individuals as standard practice. However, we aim to be as inclusive as possible, so if your child does require 1-1 support, please get in touch with head office to discuss this further. In the interest of other children and our camp staff, we ask that you disclose any type of behavioural support for your child in advance of attending camp so we can cater for their needs.

What happens if my child has an accident or becomes ill whilst at camp?
Accidents are recorded on an ‘Accident Form’ which you will be shown and asked to sign during collection. If there is a serious or concerning accident or injury, you will be contacted by the Camp Manager. If your child becomes ill at camp, the first aider and Camp manager will monitor them and get in touch with you when necessary so please make sure all contact details are accurate.
What if my child requires medication during camp?
For any medication during the camp day, you will need to complete an administration of medication form. You can find the administration of medication form here, please complete this and hand it to our staff upon your arrival.
